Walks

The shore at Glendale is about a 20 minute walk from the house.
Another good short walk is to follow the lightkeepers' path out to Neist Point Lighthouse.
Longer walks in the area include the track from Ramasaig to Lorgil - both are clearance villages - or the costal walk (strenuous) to Ramasaig along the high sea cliffs overlooking Neist Point (promontory in photo above) -- one of the most scenic walks in Scotland.
Beyond Dunvegan Castle are the coral beaches which are about a mile's walk from the car parking.
